By offering market intelligence and strategic advice, we empower clients to navigate the business of sport with confidence.The RoleA key focus of this position is strengthening relationships with core clients in the sports media sector, including broadcasters, rights holders, and agencies. The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact, responsible for managing existing relationships, driving renewals, identifying new revenue opportunities, and expanding business within the broadcast sector. This role reports to the Commercial Director.Key Responsibilities- Managing day-to-day relationships with existing clients, with a focus on renewals and upselling.
- Developing new business opportunities to increase overall revenue.
- Consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Creating compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Acting as a product champion, staying informed about updates and aligning commercial strategies.
- Collaborating with editorial, insights, and marketing teams to leverage content and engagement opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate client records in the CRM system.
- Providing clear reporting on the sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
- Representing the company at industry events.
- Conducting regular client meetings, including face-to-face sessions and training.
Key Skills & Experience- Proven experience in client relationship management.
- Background in subscription sales and business development, ideally within the sports sector.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop creative client solutions beyond individual product offerings.
- Experience using CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven focus.
- Ability to work independently and execute tasks efficiently.
