Business Change Manager

Title: Business Change Lead - Supply Chain 
Location: Hybrid - Travel to Scotland 1-2 days a week  
IR35 Determination: Outside IR35 
Rate: £450-550 
Length: 6 months Initial 

Contact: lucas.drayton@forsythbarnes.com Forsyth Barnes are currently working with a Market Leading Company in the Transportation industry who are looking for an interim Business Change Lead  to join their team as they are replacing their legacy finance and supply chain systems. The role will focus on Supply Chain change, including changes to business processes and procedures, existing ways of working, creation of training materials, and delivery of training to a wide range of stakeholders. It represents a chance to lead the change workstream for Supply Chain for this exciting project. 

Responsibilities: 
 
-Working within their overall Change Management Framework, create a change management strategy and associated plans for the project
-Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities for the Project, with a focus on the Supply Chain elements of the Project
-Stakeholder engagement and change management across the organisation in relation to Project Dawn
-Responsibility for “As is” vs “Future State” review and strategy for the project, with a focus on Supply Chain.
-Own and deliver the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and desk instructions for Supply Chain aspects of the system implementation.
-Plan and drive data cleanse and data build work scope for existing system.
-Lead on categorisation strategy for supplier spend, including implementation.
-Work closely with P2P Business Process Lead to understand system processes and implications for the organisation.
-Work effectively with the Project Manager to ensure all deliverables for Supply Chain are achieved within the required timelines.
-Work closely with Internal Comms colleagues to develop communications and support communication efforts to effectively manage change for the project.
-Creation and delivery of targeted training plans relevant to each affected business area, including Super User training.
-Track and report issues, including issue resolution, and identify and manage risks, including risk mitigations.
-Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress, within their overcall Change Management Framework.
-Evaluate end user readiness for Supply Chain business change.
-Undertake other duties as directed.
 
Skills / Experience Required:  
 
-Experience as a Business Change Lead for Supply Chain implementing new ERP Supply Chain processes.
-Experience of design and implementation of Supply Chain processes and procedures.
-Experience of driving adoption of processes and new ways of working through an innovative and forward-thinking approach to Business Change.
-Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
-Experience of designing and delivering training to a wide range of stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
-Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills and experience.
-Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
-Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
-Excellent active listening skills.
-Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
-Organised approach to strategy, planning and implementation.
-Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
